Fraudulantly took money from my mothers checking account

Somehow this company got my mom's checking account number [ most likely through a sweepstake or similiar come on] and sent electronic check's to her account for $3.25, and also for $39.00. I luckily was reviewing her statement and saw these charges and put a block on her account.

I will have to close the account and open a new one.
