I Attempted to rent an Apartment, only filled out the application, and the apt mgr asked for $340.00 deposit.

I got a cashiers check for $340.00 and gave it to mgr. # days later
mgr said did not qualify for the place. Deposit, "Oh. That will take 30 days, since we sent it to Corporate and tthatt takes some time.

After sometime and many phone calls later they finally said they are not going to refund the money. No agreement was signed.
