My grandson was arrested. I purchased a non-arrest bond from "2 BE FREE bonding company AKA JAILBUSTERS in Houston, Texas.
My grandson made two court appearances and was transferred to another court without a court date. We were informed by the Court that the bonding company would notify us of the new court date. It was a week later. Who ever heard of getting a court date that soon.
The bonding company did not call us with the new court date. They did call us to tell us their bond was revoked and we would have to put up a new bond. I had to turn my grandson (just turned 18 years old and just graduated from high school) into the adult county jail and he has to stay there for a week until he even appears before a judge.
I am very upset. These people will call if you miss a payment or a check-in but not for something as important as a Court date. I guess that's how they make their money, by how many people they can send back to jail. It's like buying two meals and only eating one.
