When my husband looked in our checking account this morning, he noticed a charge for $8.15 to an online company called carblash. Me. We called the phone number listed (219-256-5952) in the contact section. The man who answered the phone had a thick accent. He looked up the order and said it could be canceled since it was still pending. When asked where they were located, he said in Covington, IN. I researched this, and there is no such business there. We performed a reverse look-up on the number, and it is a Chicago landline number, not Indiana. We called back and asked for their physical address which they refused to give. He stammered and stuttered and when he couldn't provide it, he hung up. Someone tried a phising scam with us on Craig's List a month ago, and we are concerned this is the same person who has stolen my identity. The whole interaction with the "rep" was strange. I believe this business is a scam and they are stealing people's card numbers.
