They did an unathorized made up check of 99.95 out of my checking account and will not refund it and told them to cancle any further use of my account unknown

I did apply for a payday loan and when I was contacted they told me that it was a line of credit for merchindice and was a fee. I told the man on the phone that I did not want a line of credit or to be charged for the fee and to cancle the application. I checked my bank account this morning and $99.95 was taken out like a made up check with number 0000. I called number found for the company and told them I did not athorize any payment towards the line of credit they offered and wanted my money back. He stated that it was non refundable and to contact the police to file a report if I wanted to try to get my money back. Was anyone able to get their money back/refuned?
