My husband has a life-time membership to Bally Total Fitness. Under the terms of his contract, the membership fee is $60 a year for life. Starting a couple of years ago, Bally began sending him a bill for $64.20 instead of $60. When he called to find out why the price increased - he was told that it was because he did not elect an automatic payment deduction plan. This condition is not in his contract, however.
