Ripoff charged after cancelling after 'free trial' internet

I signed up for a free half-hour trial on the site, which I over-ran and was charged 1.07 fee for, which wasn't too bad. Had confirmation of cancellation. But noticed my recent bank statement I was charged on February 7 79.99 USD.
