On 01/07/10 my wife Kathleen underwent surgery at the orland park surgical center. She was there for about 4 hours. We paid the doctor and the anesthesiologist. Blue Cross and Blue Shield had an obligation to apply the proper discount and to pay $3000.00. This is on paper and sent to us by Mr. Tom Boehm, one of the trustees of local 734. It has not been paid and the wrong discount has been applied. I have paid 700.00 to the surgical center so far. I believe that i do not owe them a dime. The original bill is for 23146.00. Bc and bs has supposedly been sending the surgical money and then taking it back. Please help us.
