Dear fellow Disney channel viewers, my name is Kaylana Brown and I am a regular watcher of Disney channel. I have grown up with Disney, but over the years I have learend that they do not pick the best methods for young children. From their lack of modesty in Sharpays Fabulus Adventure to their lack of Respect for the teachers. I am entering high school next year and am amzed at the lack of respect that my fellow students have for our teachers. Granted some are not the best but they are still donating their time to the betterment of our great nation. I am very amazed at the influence that Disney holds over young children and the wrong messages that they send to them. For example, it is "perfiectly fine" for girls to wear mini shorts, and dresses that barely even count as clothing, such as thigh high and low enough on the torso to show their chests. They teach that money is important and that lieing to teachers is a "NORMAL THING" that every "NORMAL" person has loads of money to spend and that parents are really truly imbarissing. They say it's perfectly fine to be disrespectufull to your elders and that your not "COOL" if you do homework and study alot. They say it's perfectly fine to fight with your siblings when it's better to forgive forget and love. Don't get me started on how corny their shows are. I am certain that they take in millions if not billions of dollars and they can't even higher DECENT ACTORS AND WRIGHTERS! I am sick of their t.V. Shows ie: Good Luck Charlie (something that I used to enjoy greatly) where they find it HILARIOUS that a young man is wearing nothing BUT a bathrobe in a room with two young ladies. Later when the girls dad comes home he orders him to leave, so he removes the robe and so that the viewers can't see any particular things, he holds his snowboard right by him. He does this very nonchalanly and acts as if this is no big deal! I wish that we could go back to the time when ladies were taught that it is UNACEPTIBLE to wear things that showed HALF of their chests and that wearing something that was thigh high is something only prostitutes do. One day when me and my fellow students were supposed to wear something professional looking, half the girls came looking like sluts. They had skirts that BARLEY covered themselves. I remeber when I could depend on disney as a nice relief from all of the perverted t.V. Shows out there, but now I am begging to wonder if it is going to become another USA shows where you can't go a couple of minutes without seeing a prostitue, sex or any of those unpleasent things. I SERIOUSLY belive that America is overly sexulized and should be brought back to normal decency. All I ask is if Disney were to join me and and many others to make our country SOMETHING TO LOOK UP TO instead of something to be made fun of. The founders of our country did not and probably could not dream of it's citizens 5 year old children walking around in minishorts like it's no big deal! How can any dad NOT care that someone is looking at how "Nice" thier daughters legs look. And eventually their upper torso!
