I am a 66 year old disabled senior citizen with two infirmities with no cures, so i'm spread thin. I went to Carp Dental because he was on my Met Life dental list. I needed extensive work done. The first proposal was for $4. 500.00, my pocket. I told them I can't afford that much, they came down to $3,500.00, I said sorry, still to much, they left, came back with a new proposal for $1,972.00 my out of pocket and $2,000.00 out of pocket for Met Life. I said OK.
After extractions they put in a lower tempory bridge, second day i bit down and they broke in half, cost $500.00. They said they would give me credit toward my permanet bridge. My cost now $1,472.00. So I think. After four months of giving the cashier my credit card I trust shes chargeing me the right amount, after all it's a "doctor's office, I call they lie to me, they said they told me they would cost more, if that were true i would have added up my receipts and paid the balance by check. I'll cut to the chase.
After countless phone calls to Met Life trying to figure out how they scam me, I got a rep who ask me what are the codes on your contract, you know those little numbers no one understandes, after telling her she said to me, they don't match, the ones they submitted are for more $.$911.00 more, not to think what the new is going to charge to fix the lousey work this bum did, reline the lower bridge, straighten crooked crowns etc.
