As others have reported. And elsewhere on the web... MyAmerican Express card showed a bogus in March which I did not make. I checked my statement and learned the biller was ETunes LLC of Van Nuys, CA. I reported the false charge to Amex, who said they would take care of it. The disputing process.
I have been an AMEX customer since '76 - first time I have been hit. The source of this scam must come from an on-line business the few which I use AMEX vs. Visa (and boils down to two sources). Someone has been selling AMEX accounts to scam like this.
This was a small charge but like you - I feel violated and will pursue all reporting avenues available.
I am unhappy with Amex as well for the cavalier manner in which my dispute report was handled and will have to report my dissatisfaction with their chain of command.
