I inquired about a mystery shopper opportunity online and was contacted by e-mail. The e-mails I received outlined how the process worked, what my 1st assignment was and a tracking # for the payment that would be arriving through UPS.
I received the cashier's check and felt that it would be best to find out if the check was actually valid due to the fact that it was $3250.00 The gentleman at the credit union that I spoke to informed me that they do not issue cashier's checks and that it was definately fake.
The cashing of that check would've put me in debt to the bank. Any time you sign-up for a work at home opportunity that involves a transfer of money to you through a check of any kind I encourage you to validate it before cashing.
