My husband and myself went to Conns looking for a 46" samsung 120 hz/1080. Our salesperson showed us a Samsung 46" 1080 retailing for $809.97 but on the information card it didn't say if it was a 120hz or a 60 hz. I asked her what was the Hz and she told me it was a 120hz. At the same time another salesperson walked up and said yes ma'am that's definetly a 120hz. I thought to myself the price was pretty good I better ask again are they sure it was a 120hz, and once again they BOTH assured me that it was. I told the saleslady that we would take it and she asked us about a cable which we also agreed to purchase. Before I handed over the check I asked Veronica, our saleslady once again if she was sure it was a 120HZ and once again Veronica replied indeed it was and that it would be available to pick up the next day. When i returned home I decided to research the model number myself and found itn to be a 60hz and not a 120hz that i was told i was getting at the $809.97. I called the store and spoke with the store manager, Richard and explained the situation to him. His reply was that he didn't have a 120hz available. I told him i could wait but i was told i was purchasing a 120hz at that price and they needed to honor it. Richard, said he was unable to do that. I asked for a district manager number and he proceeded to give me a 1-800 number. After a run around I was given another number. I called and made my complaint on 3-30-11 and as of today 4-02-11 at 8:45pm I have yet to hear from anyone. All I'm asking for is what I was told i was getting a 46" Samsung 1080,120 hz for $809.97 plus tax. Because the HZ size wasn't available of the card I had to rely on the store to provide this information to me. They had numerous chances to research it before responding but chose not to. I should not be penalized for someone not doing their job on their end as they should have.
