I was sold a Kirby by Terry Hintone and Roger Williams in Ashville, AL. I was promised that my attachments for the Kirby would be ordered and delivered to me within 2 weeks. I have NOT yet recieved them. I also was given a used carpet shampoo attachment and charged for a new one! They told me I could use my Kirby to clean / shampoo my upholstry However, the owners manual clearly states NOT to use it for upholstry unless you have the attachment which I have not yet recieved. I have tried several times to call Freedom Enterprises but I get a recording I select the correct option but it just rings and no one answers.
I am in process of contacting the main Kirby Company and trying to settle this matter and inform them of what some of their representatives are doing. It really put a black mark on the Kirby name.
My advice is do NOT purchase a Kirby through Freedom Enterprises in Pelham, AL. If they knock on your door slam it and lock it!!!
