I ordered and paid 2 car magazines on line on March 13; the regular expected waiting time was 2 months in US but since I am in Canada, went up to 3. As soon as I submitted the subscription I got confirmation and order #. I e-mailed them on June 6 just to have an update on my order status and the replay was that I will have an answer in 7-10 days. Today is the 28th and still waiting for the answer!!! In their site said that the shipping will be directly from the publisher so e-mailed the publisher to check if they have my order. They said that an order could take 30-60 days to get to them and sometimes longer but never said if my was received or not. Today I phoned magazinecity in the morning and in the afternoon; both times, after 3 min of nice music, a male voice said: NOBODY IS AVAILABLE TO ATTEND YOUR CALL @ THIS TIME just to leave message which I have not done. I cannot get these kind of magazines in Toronto and are very important for me. My youngest son is in a psychiatric facility for the past 3 years which is exactly the same period of time that I have not seen him because he is so sick that believes that has no family. Therefore, he refers to me as the NICE LADY that every Friday drops off snacks, clothes and magazines for him. Customised cars were always his passion so having those magazines will give him some happiness and @ the same time having my name and our address on hopefully helps, along with the treatment, to bring my son back from his illness. Sorry for the extensive message but I just want to know if anybody has a positive experience with magazinecity or I should not keep waiting and in that case from where I could order that kind of magazine. I want to think that is not a scam that just need more time and that I have not waist time and money. I will appreciate any suggestions but I only want to get those magazines or any other that could help in this painful ordeal that schizophrenia had brought in my life. Thank you to those that replay!
