On 3-11-11 i visit the Ashley Store, and the sale person was Gene, a very pushy person. I told hem what i was looking for and i ask hem can i just look around. So i found something nice and he told me i needed a down payment (hundred dollars). I told hem that was to much for a 400.00 table set and he ask me did i have good credit. I told him yes and he ran a credit check. He told me that i was approved for 3500 hundred dollars. After that he told me that GE money always want a down payment. So he told me it would be 28.00 dollars for the first payment and he did not explain any thing on the paper about the sales.
The next day i decided i did not want that table set because it would have been to large for my kitchen area. So i looked at something smaller and less then 400.00 dollars. Gene told me it would be an even exchange and i told him no that is no right. Gene said that's the way it is. When he said that, i got so mad and left the store because i work at the hospital. I call the manger (George). He said i tried to stop you and give you a better price. He is telling a LIE. He said there is no refund. I will never step foot back in that store. I have and ask for my money and they are saying no that is for their time. I will not use the Ashley credit card, i cut it up.
