I am a College student, and I recieved a phone call one day in my dorm for a master card / visa that had a 500.00 credit limit for a processing fee of $79.00. I was also told that it would improve my credit for future credit card approvals. Then when I recieved the full information for my card, I found out that it was a prepaid card.
Why in the world would i get a prepaid credit card where I have to send the money to put on my card? I already have a checking account with a visa check card that does the same thing. I can use it for debit or credit. The operators talk so fast and most of them are really rude to customers also I from Tanzania (E. Africa) and it's really hard for me to understand what someone is saying if they are talking really fast. I have written several times and all times they have said that only 12.95 will be refunded to my account which hasn't been refunded since last year by the way.
I wanted the tapes played infront of another organization even a lawyer so they can hear if the operator made it clear to me that what I was getting was a pre paid card and not a credit card. I decided to write this because I am a student from Tanzania, I can't work in the country because I only hold a student visa.
My parents try to support me by sending me money and I wanted to stablish a credit that was the only mistake I made. Please help me get my money back because that is all I have. I wanted the bureau to help me so the tapes can be played back for everyone to hear without a shadow of doubt that these people are thieves out to get innocent people and may the Lord Almighty pay you for this in HELL.
