I am a disabled individual, first time lock out of my apartment, key was blown away in the wind. Called, waited 45 mins, called second time, they denied I was in the system and said they cater to only Virginia when in fact the office located was down the street from me. After an hour total wait he shows up, before writing anything tells me to fill it out then sign it so he can do work. He gets in after 15 mins, re-does the lock after another 15, gives me the option of cheaper or more expensive lock, I say cheaper. After all his work charges me $390!!! Demands full payment on the spot either by charge or cash. I give him me card and he takes it to his car, i follow because he wont let go of my card so i can carry it. Bank calls me afterwards suspecting criminal activity.
I call them after talking to my family about it, its suspected the billing is strange and should be re-evaluated. The lady on the phone refuses to connect me to management, I tell her my story only to be mocked and made fun of because of my age, disability and circumstances. Says i should have called another locksmith and all sales are final. I didn't know this plus i had groceries, had to go to the bathroom, had my epilepsy meds in my home and needed rest. Here's hoping I never get locked out again, i cant afford to, im on social security and they took all my money.
