Having used the old fashioned Tommee Tippee Anyway Up Cups with my older child 10 years ago, I bought two of these cups with Dura-spout Lip-touch technology for my new baby.
They look lovely in bright colours, are a nice shape for bay to hold, and the valves seem to work very well.
However, they are nearly impossible to assemble! Once you have sterilised the silicone spout piece, you then have to handle it to try to push it into the cap ring. Its a very fiddly and time consuming operation, and by the end of it there is no way the parts are still sterile. Given that it is sold for use by babies 4m, sterilisation most definitely is still an issue at this age.
It is also very difficult to get the silicone spout piece lined up correctly with the fixing ring, and get it to stay lined up whilst you fiddle about inserting it and seating it correctly. Assuming you can manage any of that, trying to screw the top onto a cup that is full of boiled water (i.E. Still hot) is a task that I found somewhere between difficult and impossible.
Overall I was very very disappointed with the design of these cups and will be looking for an alternative that is more manageable and easier to use.
