I recently made an offer for a short sale property located at 818 S Olive Ave., Alhambra CA 91803. Asking price is $399,000 and my offer is $399,000. The dual agent Rose Pinkurs told me that Chase counter price is $425,000, take it or leave it and I have to respond same day. She also told me that seller Orma Martinez is not paying closing cost as agreed in purchase contract and I do not know Chase will pay or I will pay. I asked her to give me a copy of counter offer from Chase, she said everything is oral. I called Chase Loss Mitigation Department and the representative Michille said every thing is in writing including counter offer.
