My boyfriend and I were waiting to board our flight to Las Vegas from the LAX airport. We had been up since 430am and drove the 3 hours, in traffic, from San Luis Obispo. Our flight was very delayed so I decided to try my luck with California Pizza Kitchen Express. I asked Maria if it was possible to make the vegetarian pizza w no cheese do to my vegan diet. She replied: no, it's pre-made. I found this amusing considering all of the pizzas were being made to order right behind her! I asked her again, are you sure? I can't have dairy but am really hungry? Her response "nope". Obviously irritated, I ordered a pepperoni one for my boyfriend anyway and came back w no food. He saw this and felt bad. After snacking on his pizza for a bit he excused himself to use the restroom. About 20 min later he returned w a vegan veggie pizza for me from the same place! I asked him what he had said to her and he just told her he had a dairy allergy, just as I had, and made it for him with out hesitating. Now, this girl is either very sexist or decided from the beginning she didn't like me. Either way, my food should have been made the first time instead of having to have my boyfriend, who just recently had knee surgery, walk all the way to the end of the terminal to get what should have been made right the first time.
