We are running a convenience store. Coca cola supplied us thier beverages for almost 8 years. The way it has worked is we order some drinks and pay upfront at delivry, with a clear understanding that any or all of the product which we are unable to sell or goes out of date, they would take it back and give us credit accordingly. But since middle of 0,10 they have been reluctant to take back outdated product which kept piling up, and recently in Jan. 11, some one called us and told us that they are not going to take back and outdated prouct from o, 10, whereas only couple weeks ago when they took order, they assured me that all outdated product is ging to be picked up. Now I am stuck with 6-700$woth of product, which they should be obligated to issue credit for. Coca Cola is a multi billion enterprise, whereas we are a very tiny business finding it very hard to survive in the prsent climate. If, giants like them reneg on their obligations, what small fries like us are supposed to do?
