I (foolishly) bought a membership for Stanford Who's Who in October after they contacted me by phone. At the beginning of December, I was wrongfully charged a payment ($198) that I did not agree to. I contacted customer service immediately after the charge showed up on my bank account and spoke with multiple representatives, including at least one supervisor. After several days of a lot of back and forth and even being threatened by a supervisor to not be helped at all, we finally were able to come to an agreement (not a full refund, but they said that's "the best we can do." $99 back in my account and waive my monthly $9.95 membership fee). They said they would email me a copy of the refund agreement that I would then have to sign and send back before any money would be refunded. The agreement was supposedly emailed to me on December 10th. I never received this agreement and requested (via email) that they resend it.
