A supposed News Site about Price Shuffle mentions that the site is valid and is currently offering free bonus points. The Price Shuffle site appeared to be legitimate; there was supposed to be no charge for registering and receiving bonus points. While filling out the online forms on 12/6 there was no reference to purchasing points in the forms. There were 300 points credited to my account which appeared to be the bonus points. Only after checking my VISA statement for December on 12/25 did I realize for the first time that Price Shuffle had charged me $ 149.75 without my authorization for a 300 Bid Package which I did not order.
Price Shuffles first response to my email requesting a refund on 12/25 was a well crafted letter stating that I had bought the 300 nonrefundable bid package when registering and that if I complained they would inform anyone that I complained to that I bought the Bid Package and that I shouldnt dispute it since Price Shuffle is not allowed to process further refunds once a dispute is filed, and Price Shuffle offered a $40 refund and 100 free Bids contingent on canceling any dispute.
A second offer of $70 refund and 100 free Bids came after I sent another email. My next email elicited a response of please take the previously offered generous refund. If the pre-checked box for 300 bids at $149.75 does exist. Which I doubt, it must be well hidden to not be readily noticed by the customer. After falling victim to this scam I have seen numerous postings online of people having the exact same experience this is well crafted and no coincidence.
