It appears that we were not the first ones to fall prey to thecons andliesand deceptionused by Tony Concialdi of Crystal Lake, IL. I read a similar report someone posted in March it sounds almost exactly like my story, but here goes:
Tony's son is a star player on our son's little league football team in Prairie Grove.
Tony got to know me over the pastfewfootballseasons, andover that timelearnedwe owned a small company of our own.
In the fall of this year, he approached me with an "investment opportunity" and explained what he does for work, which is investing in used cars and selling them for more profit. He explained that if we would loan him money we would get more back in return.
We decided to give him money, because we thought since his son was on our football team and we always saw their family, it wouldnt be an issue. That was $4990 and going on 3 months, and dozens of lies ago. Boy do we wish we had done some research and seen this complaint article first.
Do NOT give this man a dime!
