Overt twenty items and tobacco

I use tobacco products and am used to going to the one register that is available for tobacco after I have done my regular shopping. That one register has just become a twenty item register. I took my cart full of groceries as usual to that register. I did not notice twenty only items. It was brought to my attention by clerk I had too many items. How am I to get my tobacco I asked? Was advised buy my tobacco there, then go stand in another line to ring up my groceries. Anyone out there ever see the length of Walmart lines? One line for tobacco and twenty items or less. Another line if you have over twenty items and want tobacco. This is my complaint. AlsoWwalmart has no email for complaints.
