Last Monday I made a purchase of approximately $31 USD for online currency in an MMOG via e-check through Paypal. The payment cleared last Wednesday. I have not received what I paid for, and they will not grant me a refund. It is now Monday morning.

This site (www.theveisk.com) is fraudulent. They will never deliver what they promised to. I filed a claim with PayPal as soon as I realized I'd been had, which is still unresolved.

I have been ignored, lied to, and laughed at in their customer service chat. They have told me repeatedly to have more patience, that their online account has been banned and they need more time. I have been given every excuse you could imagine. They have told me that it is hard to raise in game funds on my server. (The game I play only has one server) They have told me their account has been banned (no explanation to which account was banned: in game, PayPal, their bank accounts, etc) Its always "Please be patient, give us 10 more hours."

After two days of this, I started demanding a refund, to which they responded just as they had been. "We will give you your gold. Please be patient, " making me suspect that their online chat is in fact completely automated. They have told me that they can't give refunds, that PayPal told them not to give me a refund, that I am on the list to get a refund, that a refund will be issued in ten hours, etc, etc etc.

Friday night I made my purchase from one of theveisk's many competitors. It took 25 minutes to complete my order, and they apologized for taking so long. I have made similar purchases from many sites, and have never had any issues.

After I opened a dispute with Paypal, they turned abusive, calling me stupid, telling me their system cannot grant refunds while a dispute is in process. I called PayPal and was assured that I should never close an open dispute until the dispute is resolved. This evening I will be escalating my dispute to a formal fraud claim. I trust that PayPal will make this right for me.
