I contracted with one company to move my belongings for 2,000. And, WITHOUT BEING TOLD, Ori Van Lines shows up and puts on my belongings on their truck.
Then they DEMAND 9,000.00 plus tips for their employees. I question the price and they say 4,000.00 is for packing material (5 rooms)&took they 3 to 4 hours). I also notice Ori Van Lines on their paper work that they demand I sign after all my belongings are on the truck, and they say they "purchaed the contract" and "this is done all the time".
I ask to speak with the owner but he is in Israel but his little brother comes out and offers me 400.00 back on the packing material IF I SIGN A DOCUMENT STATING THAT THEY WERE ORI VAN LINES BEFORE THEY PUT MY ITEMS ON THEIR TRUCK. BECAUSE THEIR DRIVER INADVERTENTLY OVERLOOKED THIS LITTLE DETAIL.
When my items were delivered many items were missing and broken. One piece of broken furniture was thown into the corner of my garage so I would not see it. My antique chrismas ornament were gone, many expensive tools, etc.
Also, I moved 1500 miles less than expected and was told that Ori would reimburse 750.00. However, when I asked for the money I was told that parts of the company had been sold and they were NOT SURE who shold pay the money. And their owner was in Israel and they would have to wait until he gets back to speak with him.
These people need to be prosecuted, put out of business.
