I belonged to anytime fitness in groton boston for three years.
I had been a faithful exercise client, faithful for the site and promptly with funds.in september i'd crisis breast surgery to get rid of abreast group. I had been told by my doctor to take the gym off to recuperate. Following from my surgery i created a musculoskeletal situation affecting our trapezius creating muscle pressure. I named the gym to cancel and was instructed to pay the following 2 weeks along with a 150 buck cancellation fee in addition to sedning a professional letter to them and also to abc. I had been also told by anytime to contact abc for extra information.
I paid within the phone with abc our november cost (when i submitted this termination on 10/28 also it fell inside a one month cancellation time). The represenative i talked with stated that they'd be rescheduling my card so there could be no drafting problems. I delivered a ceritifed healthcare note from my doctor for long go back to the gym along with a cetified termination letter from myself for the gym and also to abc. Each were received by 10/30 via certified mail with bill.
On 11/3 abc emailed me stating the medical note they received needed more detail. That it needed to express "substatial impairment." i supplied them yet another medical notice (from one more physician managing me as our surrgeon removed me to my primary care physician) and itsent via fax with confirmation on 11/4.
At this time i'm going to call law enforcement to get a stolen charge card and illegal purchases.
I'm paid entirely together plus they are questioning to cancel my account with no 150.00 payment. Multiple reps explained this could be waived with medical certification. I've provided them ample medical certification. A lot of actually, when i will soon be reporting to the american medical association that they're in hipaa breach by threatening customers to submit secured health information and treatment for commercial improvements.
I'm so comletely abused like a female client. I'm a physically strong 20 soemthing woman and abc monetary has beat me along psychologically and actually, although i'm previously down restoration from this medical problem. Eveything they've asked me to complete, i've done. Plus they continue to find anything "not adequate enough" and refuse to supply me the cancellation policy part of my agreement, that i evidently closed. They continue to threaten me with increased payments due.
Anytime fitness is of no aid. Jen will not i want to speak to anthony vivoamore (the dog owner). I may understand their uneven ways if abc is what they're coping with.
I've contacted the greater business bureau aswell for several of the above. Ideally, god prepared, no body currently owned by that gym gets sick. Barring demise, you are unable to cancel. And for people trying to join a gym... Usually consult their payment company before you join!!! And google them!!!
