I am a college student attending binghamton university in new york state, i am a transfer student from california and did not know my way around the city of binghamton. My parents and i flew to binghamton to see the campus and to rent an apartment. I did alot of searching online and found http://sallassociates.com / i emailed them and set up an appointment with my parents to go see several student apartments. I found several i liked and my parents signed me up for a fully furnished apartment with a plasma screen tv. About a month later school was starting and i packed my stuff and went to pick up the keys to my new apartment, i got to the office and they told me there is a mixup and i didnt get the apartment. My parents prepaid the deposit and paid 2 months rent in the summer when i was not even living in the apartment. The staff at sall associates said they will get me a better apartment that night because i had no where to stay. The guy was getting nasty at me becuase he asked if i would share an apartment with someone else, i said yeah why not! Then he took me to a ghetto and said here is your new roomate. This guy looked more like a cell mate it was obivous he wasnt a student. I later explained that it is way too late to keep looking and that i would stay there this one night. He gave me the keys and left. That night i was it sounded like a person was getting raped in the next room. To make this long story short, police were in the house and th e police officer clearly asked what i was doing "in this side of binghamton". They stole my money and i was angry.
They will not give me back my money and i had to live on campus for 3 times what they were charging me, my father is calling the ny state attorneys generals office and making a formal complaint, this company should not be able to operate they are theives.
