Twice now I have called the United States Postal Service at 167 S STAPLEY DR
MESA, AZ 85204-9997 to end up on the phone with a belligerent jerk named Harold who acts more like a mobster over the telephone than a USPS public servant. The first time I called him and asked whom I was speaking with this customer service disaster snapped back and asked me who I was as if I was calling him at his house. As if he were a paranoid crystal meth addict. Like he was afraid of someone asking him for his name. Like a crook.
Today on the 4th of October I called the same post office simply to enquire about what time the mail would arrive since it was a few hours late. His first response was that he really couldn't tell me. I then informed him that it usually arrived around 12:00 PM and he then said "well then that's what time it will get there". It was 2:00 PM when he said this. Obnoxious, rude, belligerent and deliberately facetious and malevolent. I have since filed a complaint against this criminal with the USPS and will pursue the issue as completely as possible.
I told him he was a public servant and he should not be dealing with the public in such an unprofessional manner to which he replied "I'm not your servant". I told him I was a taxpayer and he just laughed. Think of all of the unemployed people out there that know they could do a better job than this joke of a creep in their sleep. He asked me what my address was and I told him and then he laughed as if to imply that he was going to tamper with my mail which of course is a Felony offense. This was right before he hung up on me.
Why should such a low life even deserve to have a job like that when he is clearly incapable of displaying the least bit of common courtesy, polity or basic human decency? This is the kind of scum bag who WILL NOT behave or treat you with any basic manners unless you are a member of the mob or someone who is wealthy enough to see to it that he will be terminated from his job and won't so much as be able to find work peeling potato's.
I knew his name from the first unpleasant experience of speaking with him which is Harold. I called him back and said "this is Harold isn't it?" He said "yeah, who's this?" To which I responded "I'll have your job smart ass" and hung up. Who knows if he did anything but mock and laugh in sheer criminal arrogance once I hung up but the bottom line is that someone like that shouldn't be on a phone talking to the public.
I figured I would jot this down here since I googled "complaints about USPS Mesa AZ" and sure enough there was already a report here. So this account is my contribution in regards to the low life, pathetic and unprofessional behavior of such "civil" servants. I'm certain there will be more to come. Absolutely pathetic.
