Like coffee at SPEEDWAY???
I made my own pot of coffee and was told to never come back or be ARRESTED! I pick up my local paper bundles for delivery for 2 yrs there now.in doing so I developed a repore with a certain clerk who was devastated one evening fearing that next day divorce court would result in her 3yr old boy being taken from her. My compassion for her compelled me to loan her $450 then total $500 for lawyer to keep child. Agreed payback was when income tax check arrived. I never said one disrespectful word to her even after 2 months went by after w-2's came. Her demeanor changed the closer april 15 deadline came. They used to let me make my own coffee-then was told to let a clerk make it-OK... Only clerks sat picking nose. I made my own after new rule, ONCE!
Driving 190 miles a day working 2 full time jobs I spend $20-$35 a day at speedway. That's $10,000 a year! $20,000 last two years! Not being able to pick up papers at drop site (Speedway) I have two weeks left leaving a job that pay's $15,000 a year.
I have witness speedway clerks sleeping on the job-spit on floor-engage in illegal activity but making a pot of coffee is the worst evil! (I found out hard way) This female that I helped has in an indirect way wanted to compensate me in a very friendly way wanting to know where I live and when could she see me. She has admitted to jumping in truck drivers trucks traveling out of state and I see her coming in half drunk "loud' obnoxious-at 4am while her parents raise her boy. (Her foul language is 20 words cussing per 30 spoken-customers in store or out it doesnt matter)
Because of her devious premeditated actions, I lost out on $500, a $15,000 a year job and speedway lost out on $10,000 a year sales from me alone.
What did speedway do? Made her manager...
