When your "rush" shipping did not come on time (for a specific, time-oriented event), I called to cancel the order entirely. Was told that would be no problem; only need to put "refused - return to sender" and send it back through the mail. Very helpful customer-service woman. I'd caught the shipment before its arrival.
Later, "Ronnie" @ Shamwow told me, "No, you have to catch the postman before he drops it off; too bad - it's yours." But because the package arrived when I was in another country, I couldn't do that.
So I asked for him to reconsider, since his customer-service rep had given me misinformation. If she'd told me THEN that I needed to catch the mail carrier, I could have asked a neighbor to leave a note on my mailbox while I was out of the country. But she confirmed, very specifically, in answer to my questions, that I only needed to write on the box and leave it out to be picked up.
Multiple e-mails later, with please to honor what his customer-service rep had told me, no dice. Still, I sent the package back via the USPS, who said it was no problem to return, since I'd not opened it. But Shamwow sent it back to me again.
I would love it if someone at Shamwow would honor the comment from their own customer-service rep and take the unopened package back and refund me my entire charge. Thank you.
