I was laid off by this company, crown corr (a roofing and siding company out of michigan) not affiliated with local # 88 here in las vegas, nevada. This company just came over after working eight days and told me i was no longer needed. This company new when they hired me (cause i worked for them at city center) that if they kept me for longer than 5 days, that i would be put at the bottom of our locals" out of work list"and was... When i took this position, i knew that they were dricriminating for age because they were doing the same thing at city center, but being that i was on unemployment, i couldn"t refuse the position... What goes around comes around, and i hope these suckers get theirs some day...
