I used to take my Tundra through the Car Spa at Lynnhaven & Holland on a fairly routine (every 2 months) basis. After this last trip, it is the last trip I will ever make there!!!
Each time I had gone through, there were always comparatively minor issues which I tended to overlook. Swirls in the hood which could be buffed out, water residue, things which can be corrected, but generally not worth the effort or the hassle to really discuss with their manager, who is generally too busy dealing with the operations to listen to individual complaints.
What I won't accept is theft of property! My son and I are avid surfers, we're the type of 'crazy surfer' that will go out year-round, regardless of how cold it is. We keep our stuff that we need underneath the rear seat (I have a crew cab long bed 4x4 07' Tundra). During this last (and now final) visit to the Car Spa, the following items came up missing - 2 surfboard leashes (1 Da Kine, 1 FCS), each one valued at approximately $30.00, and a trailer hitch cap that is $25.00 from Wave Riding Vehicles (WRV). Of course, none of these were 'located' at Car Spa. It is no ironic coincidence that the leashes were in my truck when I went to the Car Spa, along with the hitch cap on the back, but missing when I got my truck back.
