I ordered shoes from TNT Dance Designed on 2/23/10. The shoe I desired was out of stock, so they kindly called me the next day to alert me; on the phone I cancelled my order. I followed that up with an e-mail cancellation in response to the invoice they sent, asking for a refund.
They contacted me on 3/2/10 to state the shoes were backordered, and again I responded with a cancellation request by phone and by e-mail.
I heard nothing from them until 5/21/10, when I returned home from vacation and found the shoes had arrived in the mail. I was unclear what the package was, since I wasn't expecting any shoes, so I opened it. I contacted them again, via phone and e-mail, requesting to return the package with free shipping.
The company has not ever acknowledged or commented on the fact that the shoes were sent in error; referring only to their return policies as though I had ordered incorrectly. They refuse to help defray the shipping cost, despite their company error.
The galling part is the terrible customer service. I never received a telephone call, despite repeated text & voice appeals for one. E-mails have been slow to respond (and responses were never received to my initial emails in Feb and Mar), as well as curt and grammatically incorrect.
I am mailing back the shoes, at a shipping cost to me, for their error. Other customers should beware their poor customer service.
