My family purchased a 2 month old puppy from this puppy mill. We had heard many horror stories about buying dogs from a retail store, but we had looked for a breeder for the breed of dog we wanted with no luck. We purchased a dog for roughly $800 which supposedly had a medical Vet clear him for purchase only the day before we purchased him. Within 48 hours of taking him home, we had taken him to a vet twice who diagnosed him with pneumonia.

I google searched the name of the company (All About Puppies, et all) and its owner Regina Galloway and found several dozen complaints and bad reviews about Ms Galloway's dog stores in the Tampa Bay area. All of the complaints dealt with respiratory issues with the dogs she sold. I contacted Ms Galloway and she gave me every excuse in the book to obsolve her of any responsibility. She made statements such as "your vet is wrong in his diagnosis", "your vet is making a mistake by giving him that medication", "our vet in our network knows how to treat our puppies.

Our dogs are breed in the midwest and only our vets know how to take care of them". I coudln't believe the excuses I was hearing. I could tell this woman Regina galloway had made this arguement numerous times with other customers who complained and I am certain many people feel powerless. I spent approximately $400 on vet bills in 48 hours as well as $200 for a dog crate, supplies and other materials from the dog store itself that sold my puppy and was told it was all non-refundable.

The more I researched Mrs Galloway online, the more I discovered similar complaints against her. Most of the complaints were in regard to Mrs Galloway's poor demeanor and lack of compassion for the customer's bad experience with her company. We have a young daugther at home that is absolutely heartbroken that we had to return the dog that she had worked so hard to obtain with her honor roll grades. We now have to deal with our daughter's nightly crying becuase she lost her dog.

As parents, we all make tough choices. We have done our best to teach our daughter the life lesson we learned in doing business with this pet store. We stuck to our principles and decided to return the dog at a large financial loss to us. The dog we purchased had pneumonia and our vet indicated the dog needed numerous xrays and diagnostics over the next month, and after several thousand dollars in expenses, there was no guarentee the dog woudl recover.
