First, do not be fooled that this is a non-profit operation. It is definitely for profit. Ken Volk is a snake in the mud, as he rips off employees. He did not pay me over $6000 in wages, did not report my wages to social security, the IRS or the state so that when I got fed up with his lies and quit, I could at least receive unemployment. He does not care if his employees are homeless he just calls them all the time and begs them to be at work at 7:30 am. And works you all hours and then says go home, even when you have none because he does not pay his bills. Then, when I did quit and someone called the office to contact me, he told them, "She is probably in jail." That remark caused me to lose my car in the shop because he would not pay me so that I could pay for the repairs and no one knew how to contact me. I let Ken use my bus card and when he had no long distance I used my own phone to call folks for him. Rather than pay me, Ken invested in the New Times, which was his only priority, and some scheme with this woman who invested in an African scheme. Ken has had judgments entered against him for defamation. Check out www.maricopa. Gov and check Ken's litigation history. When someone got a judgment against him, Ken filed bankruptcy to no avail as liablity for most intentional acts are not dischargable in bankruptcy. Ken just recently got released from jail for child support contempt. He only utilized bookkeepers at his business NOT for payroll and reporting purposes but to attempt to keep from owing child support. His daughter is darling but he keeps people around the office so as to have her where he is but never spend time with her. It is such as shame.
Ken is incompetent as a legal document preparer and does not even know how to get a subpoena issued.
Ken committed bankruptcy fraud and I went to his 341 hearing and he admitted that he had not paid me and that he had lots of assets and accounts that he had failed to tell about.
As for tenant issues, Ken is a good writer with good grammatical skills but he won't tell tenants that it is very likely that landlords will report on credit, even if they use his service. He always had money trouble paying the lawyers for the tenants and would, when there was a good cash flow, pay his child support attorney and process servers for services in that action, rather than employees. He does not care about really understanding legal principles and how they may affect tenants and only careas about getting tenants money into his pocket.
As for Ken's personal demeanor, I agree with the post that ws posted in April. He is bizarre. He has a pet rabbit running around his house and had to keep his office blocked off by kid gates to keep the rabbit, his daughter's pet, from eating computer wires.
Ken does not even have drivers' license. He probably could not get one. He probably has check enforcement after him. I know the only reason he cares about paying child support, is not so his daugther has a good life or that his son's tuition is paid at school, but to stay out of jail.
I am certain that Ken Volk is committing or attempting to commit tax fraud by using many personal expenses for business expenses.
Before doing business with Ken Volk, make certain that you have years of your life and credit score to throw away and a lot of money to spend. Read the fine print.
