I bought a Pantech c740 on Sept. 17, and within a week it would not turn on. I took it into the store and after the salesman rebooted it with another battery, it worked. But only for as long as i was in the store. The next morning, it did not turn on again. When I plugged it in, assuming that maybe the battery was dead, the only thing that happened was that the phone got hot. AT&T says Pantech hasn't reported any problems with this phone. But this wouldn't be the first time a subcontractor hasn't reported problems to a contractor. It is cute. But so far, it has been a problem.
