We moved into our newly built home thinking our dreams had come true when our nightmare had just began. After living there for about a month Jim Walter Homes still hadnt finished all the work they said they would.
Then on September 2 I called the warranty department in Florida about a leak. The woman told me someone would contact me in about 24 hrs to schedule a time to come out and fix it.
It is now November 1 and all they have done is plugged the leak and put a hole in my interior wall. Two diffent people have come out but they said they couldnt fix it because they arent plumbers.
So now when I try to call Jim Walter Homes I dont even get a responce. These people have no idea of customer service and yet they are still in business.
I think it is time for them to own up to their responcibility to their customers. I am still waiting for my warranty work to be completed.
