If you bought a puppy from Jeff and Pat Brast in the last few years you WERE lied to as to the health of your puppy.in addition to the Brasts, I was possibly one who deceived you, not by choice, and I sincerely apologize.
Approximately 30 puppies sold by the Brasts WERE infected with coccidia. This is a very insidious bug that lives in your soil, is almost impossible to eliminate, causes severe diahrrea, and can kill your puppy. These puppies were infected, symptomatic and being treated. This is comfirmable through Sachse Vet Clinic, You were given permission to contact them as to the health of your puppy. I imagine this explains alot.
I always asked them to allow me to tell you of this so you could continue to medicate. I was always denied permission.in fact I was called in often just before you came to pick up your puppy to clean up all the diahrrea. Again I apologize for My part of this.
I worked for the Brasts for the last four years and finally couldn't deal with all the immoral things they asked me to be part of.
Back to your puppy. To make matters worse, the vet and I advised the Brasts that their breeding stock was highly likely to produce offspring with hip displacia. At my continued urging and at least one buyer discovering his pup had severe displacia, their "prize stud" was confirmed to have severe displacia by PEEN x-ray, to the point the examining Dr. Advised them to restrict his activity, which they refused to do.
I carried one pup to a girl in Houston after this confirmation of severe hip displacia in her pups sire by PEEN. She was witheld this info. Also that was not the pup she chose by photo on line, they changed the color of the collar. If nobody else, this girl deserves a refund or other recourse. She and any one else is welcome to contact me for assistance with this. I wont leave my contact info for obvious reasons but I can be contacted through complaint.
I assure you I am not just another disgruntled employee, everything in prior rip off reports concerning these people is true. I watched in dismay as all this and much more was happening to people I know and care for.
I have much more to share but it makes me sick to think too much about it now, and alas this report is about your puppy.
I will say that they have been reported to the Wylie Police and Water Dept. For tampering with the main water line that crosses their property in order to steal water. Also they are still on the internet soliciting donations to a school that has been closed for well over a year. Both these facts are easily confirmable.
I would advise you to purchase a puppy from a more reputable source. And check it out thoroughly before buying. Ask for complete records and especially with the large breeds have PEEN documentation on the parents.
Dogue de Bordeaux are a new AKC breed and indiscriminant breeders should not be allowed to screw up the bloodlines here in America.
