I was told about an investment opportunity with this individual by a mutual friend who has been friends with his family for about 30 years. My friend and his wife are Jehovah Witnesses, so I felt I could trust him with my life savings.
He made only one payment after the first 3 months (per our Promissory Note) and I have never seen him since. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt when he told me he had problems with a business partner in a different investment company, etc. He called or texted me occassionally saying he had a new job, and was using all of his money to pay attorneys to go to court, but he never got back to me about the results of each hearing.
His wife recently sent letters to me and the friend who recommended him, repeating all the ridiculous excuses he gave us, but didn't offer any payment either. This man has repeatedly promised to come and bring me some money to help with my finances, but I haven't seen him since Feb!
His cell phone is constantly "full" of voicemail, and lately his text message inbox has been full too. I can't even leave messages, although he normally doesn't ever respond even if I can leave a text.
If you have been cheated by him also, please contact Detective Eisenhower at the Simi Valley Police Department. He believes this is a typical "Ponzy-type" situation.
