This company has zero ZERO Integrity. (I bet that the owner JUST had to look that word up!) INTEGRITY. This company has NONE.
Where do I start?!
I turned down another job to work at this company because of empty promises and exaggerated/false claims being fed to me, and all other trainees at the time of my hire.
The lies we were fed were mostly around PAY. (Kind of important when deciding whether or not to stick to a job, esp in regards to a company that ALREADY has a plethora of negative reviews floating around about them!)
We were first told that we would be trained for two weeks at minimum wage. Which I understand and do not disagree with. However, we were also told that our pay would increase after training. Which we later found out was up to "the owner's (Michelle Tucker) discretion"... So A MONTH LATER we are STILL getting paychecks for MINIMUM WAGE!!! (even though by this time we were on the floor bringing in settlements) BUT WAIT! Don't stop reading now folks, the story gets better,
When we asked to please PLEASE be given concrete figures and timelines as to when our "TRAINING" was over and when we would see a decent and fair pay raise, we were UNABLE TO GET THAT INFO!!! Really, this company was UNABLE to be straight with us and tell us what the pay rate was/time frame that we were looking at BESIDES that it was "up to Michelle's Discretion". So... SIX WEEKS, yes indeed,
SIX WEEEEEEEKS later&same paycheck. I came to work early, left late, worked hard, and worked for MINIMUM WAGE for SIX WEEKS. During this time I brought in settlements. (Minimum wage is $7.75? Or less, an HOUR&the ad had said $12 an Hour, Plus Commission)
*ALSO, (now this is GOOD) we were told that we would be making 5% on the commission that we brought into the company. So, I, along with my fellow "trainee"/co-worker who started the same time that I did (but was wiser and quit this joke-of-a-job beforehand) were under the impression that we would make 5% on the settlements we had brought in during our first month of working there... UNTIL that is, we received a PAPER TO SIGN, stating that we made NOTHING on those settlements, and that the minimum settlements we would have to make IN ORDER TO GET A COMMISSION was $5,000-
*This was brought to our attention A MONTH after working for this company (and less than an HOUR before we would receive our second paycheck!!! THEN, we found out (not from the company of course, since they seem to find it incredibly difficult to just be honest and give straight answers regarding pay) that once we hit the $5,000 mark, we would only make a commission on the amount we made OVER the $5,000... (S0, if you bring in $6,000, you make 5% of $1,000...) Yup. Had it not been for this ONE co-worker that was honest to us about what our paychecks would look like-we probably would have continued to work for minimum wage not knowing how badly we were being ripped off and deceived until our following paycheck.
* I would like to add-to all of this, that the owner of the company told us VERBATIM that we could "easily make $40,000 to $50,000 within THE YEAR"!!!
Now... Im pretty good with numbers, and judging by our pay during the first 6weeks, and judging by the settlement amounts of other co-workers (which we were all able to see at the end of everymonth) there is NO WAY that a negotiator can make $40,000 to $50,000 their first year of working there. And if its possible-It doesnt seem like anyone working in that company for a year or less CURRENTLY has any chance of hitting that figure! Am I wrong? I would have liked to be proven wrong actually... But I dont think my math is that far off, and the company was unable to show me concrete data proving otherwise. Besides empty lies and words. I think that the owner was a liar and was stringing us along the entire time. I would have enjoyed a chart - (a simple chart really) that had the amount of years an average worker there worked-and the amount of money they made. I did not have to know the names of the employees (obviously)-but it would have been nice to see actual PROOF that employees could make a decent income at this company.
*HAD I KNOWN what my paycheck would ACTUALLY look like at the end of our pay period/every two weeks-I WOULD NEVER, EVER have taken this job.
*When my coworker quit-the owner said that "Its tough out there" (job wise)—but both of us have found better employment elsewhere! For decent/fair pay and for company's that are HONEST, have INTEGRITY, and treat employees with RESPECT.
LASTLY (AND ALSO VERY QUESTIONABLE), despite being employees hired to negotiate debt: we were asked to help put labels on marijuana pouches from the second AND SEPERATE company the owner of MST financial has-called "TOP SHELF ALTERNATIVES"... That IS NOT what I had agreed to take part in when I was hired to work for MST! This is NOT OK, NOT PROFESSIONAL, and A RED FLAG TO FUTURE EMPLOYEES OF MICHELLE TUCKER.

Thanks for the colossal waste of time! Your complete lack of integrity and lack of professionalism has taught me an important lesson: When you start hearing, seeing, and EXPERIENCING concerning things about a company that YOU are working for (and thus take part in representing) you HAVE TO ASK YOURSELF< do you REALLY want to compromise your own character for ridiculous pay? I, for one, am NOT willing to compromise MY character by working for and associating with such a disingenuous company. I should have seen through the lies sooner, and quit long before I did! I started with such enthusiasm, and was just dealt one disappointing blow after another.
Dear FUTURE EMPLOYEES:
I would suggest looking for employment elsewhere&unless you are short of being homeless. And even then-think twice, or try it out, and then when you come to your senses RUN.
This company is SUCH A BLEMISH to BOULDER and all the other better businesses out there!
