I’m confused, for the past few years I’ve paid my bills online, including GNG without incident. However, since earlier this year something has changed at GNG with their accounting. I’m still paying my bills in the same manner, definitely by the due date and even early, but yet I’m being assessed late fees. WHY? During these very tough economic times its not a good idea to give a debtor any reason to put additional blemishes on your credit report, as we all know continued late fees does just that as well as keep you from any beneficial discounts in the future. Is GNG deliberately delaying posting payments to generate additional revenue to make up for the potential loss of revenue due to the explosion of foreclosure? As I am so sure that I am not your only customer being penalized this way. I’m bewildered at the thought that GNG has contracts with various agencies that allow payments to be posted hours after a payment is made, but not with the major banks of the area. This to me spells W R O N G in so many ways. Something really needs to be done to keep customers that have decent payment habits happy instead of attempting to break their backs with frivolous fees.
