Bottom Line Books
Unordered Merchandise

I received a book, from Bottom Line Books, that I had not ordered. Within a few weeks, I received a bill for $36.92. This just didn't seem right to me, so I telephoned the FCC for advice.
The FCC advised me to file a complaint via their website. I did this. They also advised that I file a complaint with the Postmaster General via the U.S. Postal Inspection Service website. I did this as well.
From the FCC, I learned that since I did not order this merchandise, I owe them nothing and anything they claim to have sent me is mine to keep as a free gift. I also learned that it is not legal for Bottom Line Books to send statements demanding payment.
I have written 3 times to Bottom Line Books via their customer service website, explaining that I was not paying for unordered merchandise that they claim to have sent me, and that I have filed complaints with the FCC and the Post Master General. I continue to receive billing statements, each with a more threatening notice than the previous one. Most recently, they are threatening to turn me over to a collection agency and to file a lawsuit against me for nonpayment.
What more do I need to do, if anything? I don't want this outfit to ruin my good credit rating. Should I just ignore these billing statements, or do I have to spend thousands of dollars to hire an attorney? I need some help. Thank you!
