A1 technology Services will NOT be rendered

You WILL be robbed, if not ripped off. Read on if you plan on dealing with A1 Technology | mobileprogramming.com | iphonesoftwareprogramming.com | A1Technology | androidsoftwareprogramming.com | blackberrysoftwareprogramming.com | Gary Toor | Ishwari Singh
(all same company)

Heres the process you will go through.

You call with an idea or maybe send an RFP with specs of what you want done. The sales guy who is often just the nicest guy you would ever speak to, and whole heartedly believes in the idea, and promises "great results" will tell you "of course we have that exact experience! Actually, we worked on a similar project recently!" If the project or budget is high enough he may put you on the phone with his CTO named Gary Toor [who is actually an owner in the company] or possibly the other owner named Ishwari Singh

They will WOW you with examples and past clients! Be warned; they did not do half the work they show you, they did not work for half of the companies they claim.

By this point you are very impressed with their supposed past projects and clients, you will now ask for references to speak to, right? Sure you can have references! The catch is that they wont/cant send the contact info for any of the projects that they impressed you with! They will send some rinkydink past client who happens to be happy, and are most likely friends of them and in on the scam (i have no proof of that, but its possible and likely)

Now you have checked the references and cannot believe it, they all recommended you do business with them! What a surprise! So you begin contract negotiation.

Note in the contract a few things;
Firstly, the scope is very vague, this is how they will extend the deadline later and demand you pay more.

Next thing is on the last page, the wording "up to 186 hours" and ill repeat that so it sinks in. UP TO 186 hours! Which means they can work 5 hours a month and still be within contract! Which is one of the main points they will have their cheap lawyer push on you once it gets to that point, which it will.

The next important thing to note are the words "ALL PAYMENTS NON REFUNDABLE" which is self explanitory.

The final point i will warn you about is how they will keep it as a monthly recurring contract and will NOT give a fixed price! This is because they intend on extending it based on you making changes to scope, unforseen complications, or any other idiotic reason they try to sell you when that unexpected invoice arrives.

In my personal case they were telling me for the longest time how the project was done but they were working out bugs and it was jusssssst about done, and that went on for an obscene length of time. The sales guy will jump in and sell you on why theres a delay, or how he will now take care of it, whatever. Eventually i realized they just were not capable of doing the work so i demanded a refund and was refused.

I have the financial means to get back what they took from me, and i will. Im writing this because I know most of their clients do not have access to attorneys to fight back.

Also be warned they will tell you how they have anywhere from 200 to 400 developers in the company, you can never get a straight answer on exactly how many... The truth is they have literally like 19 people in India to do development! Every single developer (if you can call them that) is spread so thin by working on 5-10 projects at the sam time, which is why nothing is ever completed on time, if a all.

So good luck with them, i hope your experiences are better than mine.
