Foremost denied claim for motorhome roof damage by the weight of snow from two major snow storms within two weeks. The weight of snow caused the motorhome roof to bow around the roof air conditioner. Melting snow dripped through the air conditioner vent and ceiling inside the motorhome flooding the carpet, sofa and warping the kitchen countertop. Foremost said the was a water damage exclusion in the policy. However, the policy should have covered the damage to the roof but Foremost said that was also caused by water not the weight of snow and denied the claim. They also indicated that I could have the roof removed and if it showed the supports were bent they would cover however if there is any indicated it was caused by water it would be denied. I cannot afford to have the roof removed just to have them tell me it got wet and deny the claim.
