Dealtree They have jacked us around for about a month and a half now and seem to think it is okay to take 5 days to decide whether they are going to give my money back for a broken product they sent out

When we first bought our ps3 from Cowboom on Jan 19 we were happy. The only thing wrong was that a cable that came with it was broken and we did not receive a manual as the item was listed. We immediately called them and told them about the two problems and didn't mind waiting for the new ones to come. After what seemed like forever, they finally sent a new cable that worked but no manual. We called them again and then they sent the wrong manual after another long waiting period. After we informed them of this, they did absolutely nothing. 2 weeks later after calling again, i finally got them to say they will send me a new one but I still haven't received it and it is now March 1st.

Going back in time to 2 weeks after we bought the ps3, I bought a Nintendo DS from them also, not knowing that it was going to take them forever to send us our stuff from the previous purchase, or i would not have went through them again. After waiting a week and seeing that UPS still had not received our package, we called Cowboom to see what was going on they told us for days that ups had our package even though UPS said they didn't. Finally, after numerous calls to Cowboom, they finally admitted they didn't even know where our package was and told us they were filing a claim with UPS. It would have been different if they were upfront about not knowing, but every time we called they would just lie and tell us it was on its way from UPS, even though it wasn't. So finally after 3 long weeks, I received my Nintendo DS only to find out that the L button barely worked, and R button was completely non functional. We called them ASAP and told them about the problem. They said they would either refund our money or send a working one if they had one in stock.

So today (March 1st), we called and asked if they had received our return yet. They said they had received it and they would make a decision within 5-7 business days on whether to refund our money or send a new one. We said, how about we just get our money back (making the decision for them) because we were sick of waiting. They still said we would have to wait 5-7 business days. The customer service at cowboom is worse than the warranty on a stolen car. They seem to spend their days deciding between being completely clueless and being rude, since they clearly don't care about solving my issue. We asked to speak to a supervisor and they told us it would do no good. After insisting that I still wanted to talk to one, they finally said there aren't any supervisors available but one would call us back. I wasnt going to hold my breath for that, but one actually did call us back, except they were not from Cowboom, they were from Dealtree. The supervisor from Dealtree actually did help and was not rude. I don't know if I will ever get a refund but I hope the manager was able to solve the problem. For your reference, I wouldn't recommend speaking with anyone at cowboom, you'd be better off just asking for a manager straight from the get go.

In summary, I would describe my entire transaction with Cowboom as being a lot like teaching a team of quadriplegic drunken mentally impaired monkeys to build a spaceship. I would rather smash both of my hands with a sledgehammer than buy anything from Cowboom.com ever again.
