I responded to an on-line ad link that appeared on MSN and AOL for a. 99cent trial offer of Advanced CLease/Ultra Resveratrol. The testimonials appeared valid from TV news channels and articles from reputable magazines like National Geo and Discover. I ordered the trial on the 25 of January and received the 30day free Advance Cleanse/ULtra Resveratrol product.
No where on the on-line screen were terms or conditions visible.By February 1st there was a $149.95 charge on my credit card, which I did not authorize.
I went on-line to cancel before the trial period and sent an email to the company link. I also tried the toll free number and got no answer.
Similar circumstances occurred with a product called DentaWhite/Brite Smile.
My credit card company called me within 3 weeks with a fraud alert related to Advance Cleanse and DentaWhite/BriteSmile. Another SCAM.
The end result was to cancel my card as both companies made unauthorized charges to my card.
