Lease Finance Group
Northern Leasing These company is a crook

I just opened up an Automotive Service Station and I was still in the process of getting the business under my name. About a month into the opening, this guy name Jonathan who claim to work for Payment Systems entered my shop and started talking to me about a CC machine and how he has a great deal, etc... I listened to his sales pitch and I guess I believed in what he was saying. I told him I didn't want to lease the CC machine as I know they are only about $300-$500. So he told me that its a lease to buy agreement, only $90 per month for ONLY 3 months and that the machine will be mine. I asked what if I want to cancel the agreement? He told me it was only $250 canceling fee if I cancel it before 2 years or no charge after 2 years. I also told Jonathan that I don't have a business bank account yet since I'm still in the process of getting my business license. He told me it was ok to use my personal bank account. He showed me this "contract", which is a copy of a copy that someone faxed. It was very unclear and unreadable. He explained to me that its only $90 per month for 3 months and the machine will be mine and I will get it in 3 days. Only $250 cancelling fee just incase I didn't like it. It was ok to use my personal bank account even though the business isn't even under my name yet. It actually too 2 weeks for the machine to arrive. I called and complained that it was late, and they told me on the phone that since its late, they would give me the first month for FREE. I believed them once again. About 1 week into the machine use, I noticed all the extra fees added without my permission. I also notice that they were charging me $114.60 per month for the cc machine. I called and complained again and talked to Roxy and she told me since I signed the contract, there is nothing they can do. I was mad and talking to them was getting no where. I used the machine for about 2 weeks ONLY and I STOPPED using it. I called again and told them on the I got charged $114.60 for the machine, this time I called and asked for a copy for my contract. Once I got the copy of the contract, I compared it with a copy I made on the day i sign the contract. All the numbers were different and it seems like they changed it. I called Payment Systems again and they keep arguing with me and kept telling me "You sign the contract, so there's nothing you can do". They also told me its NOT $250 to cancel the agreement, it's $900! They basically lied and cheated on me.

After a month I decided to call Lease Finance Group since I got a letter from them saying I chose their company for financing the credit card machine which I have no idea who were they. And so I called them up telling I will close my account but they said I signed the non-cancellable contract. The only way out is either pay the 48 months lease which is $5,500 or transfer the lease to someone else. I told them I will put a stop payment against them but they told me they will ruin my credit.

With all the lies, misleading and tons of extra hidden charges, I'm fed up. I just don't want the machine and I want OUT of the contract. I have a small business, I barely make enought to keep my business open and this extra bill every month is killing me and my business. I'm willing to take legal action to get out of the contract. I just don't know what is the next step to take...

Any information is HELPFUL...

Thank You.
